This Poiret Coat is below knee length with long, wide sleeves, and an ample, rounded fit. It features a dropped shoulder with level shoulder seams and a wide armhole, a concealed button closure front, a slim lapel and two vertical pockets, with snap closure, on front chest. It has side seam pockets and a back vent. It is lined in its outer fabric, and has two internal zippered pockets. This version is lined in felpa.
This heavyweight alpaca fabric is soft with a brushed surface.
After being woven into an open weave or giro inglese using a boucle alpaca yarn, the fabric is washed and brushed multiple times in order to achieve its final look and handfeel.
