MONCLER + RICK OWENS FW23 CYCLOPIC COAT IN ACID DEGRADE NYLON

THIS CYCLOPIC COAT IS BELOW HIP LENGTH. IT HAS A FRONT ZIPPER CLOSURE, HIGH FUNNEL-NECK COLLAR, TWO FRONT SNAP CLOSURE POCKETS AND LONG SLEEVES WITH RIBBED CUFFS. IT ALSO FEATURES A VERTICAL ZIPPER ON THE BACK NECK AND A COTTON WEBBING STRAP, WITH RIVET DETAIL, ACROSS THE BACK YOKE. IT HAS INTERNAL SNAP POCKETS.

THIS AIRY AND LIGHTWEIGHT NYLON IS HAND TREATED WITH AN ACID DEGRADE FINISH.
THIS GARMENT IS DYED BY HAND IN MULTIPLE STEPS USING NATURAL DYES. THE GARMENT IS FIRST SOAKED IN A DIRT COLORED DYE BATHS FOR SEVERAL HOURS. AFTER DRYING, AN ARTISAN DIPS THE GARMENT IN AN ACID COLORED DYE BATH MULTIPLE TIMES IN ORDER TO CREATE THE DEGRADE EFFECT. SINCE EACH STEP OF THIS PROCESS IS MANUAL AND THE DYES USED ARE NATURAL EACH PIECE WILL HAVE ITS OWN UNIQUE COLORATION, SHADINGS, SPOTS AND MARKS. THIS IS AN INHERENT CHARACTERISTIC OF THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT AND IS A DESIRED VISUAL ASPECT WHICH ADDS TO THE UNIQUENESS OF EACH PIECE.
