This Vega choker is a leather strap with all over snaps, a central pals webbing strap with two, removable, hanging ""O"" rings, to be worn around the neck. Other accessories in the collection can be hung from the choker.

This heavyweight cow groppone leather is veg tanned and finished using natural waxes. Because this skin is naked, not finished using any pigments covering the skin, natural markings and shadings are visible which makes each skin and product unique.

Veg tanning means only vegetal and natural tannins were used in the process of tanning and preserving this leather.

This tannery is LWG certified with a gold rating.

This item is part of the Rick Owens collaboration with New York punk duo Suicidebandofficial and features a signature label on the interior.

The band pioneered the use of minimalist electronic instrumentation during the 1970s. The raw, disturbing sound and threatening, chaotic live shows of vocalist Alan Vega and musician Martin Rev were met with hostility early on — they were considered outsiders among their contemporaries and largely vilified, but their influence has been significant in the decades since. I used their song Cheree for one of my first runway shows and now I have developed a capsule collection with the support of the band, referencing their destroyed, deconstructed leathers, tailored jkts, and athletic track tops.
